THE TITANIC: A tragic story.

100 years after the Titanic tragedy, the world's most famous ship still fascinates us. This April, discover the legend in the new 3D version of James Cameron's film Titanic.





What was the Titanic?

The Titanic was the largest passenger ship in the world when it was a built in 1912 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was like a floating town eith passengers from all social classes. Third-class passengers paid 3$ to 8$ for a one-way ticket to America. First-class passengers paid 30$.

The Titanic was a luxury ship. Rich passengers paid 865$ for a suite decorated in elegant styles. There was also the famous Grand Staircase (see photo) which is in the film Titanic too.

The wreck of Titanic was found in 1985, about 4 km under the sea. James Cameron made his 1997 film, Titanic, using real images of the wreck. It was the highest-grossing film of all time until Avatar (2009).

David Guetta always wanted to mix music. At age 13, French teenager mixed his first albums at home, and at 14 he started organizing parties in his home. 
He tought: ''I want to be a DJ- I don't need to be doog at Maths!''
In 1984, at only age 17, David got a job as a Dj in a club in Paris. He soon got a reputation for begin a good DJ with a talent for mixing music.




FRIENDS...
Today, David's club night in Ibiza is famous around the world. He goes there on his private jet and stays in his luxury villa: it's the sort of place you see in James Bond film. That is because David is now superstar DJ: he plays dance festivals to 80.000 fans, earns more than 3 million euros a year and makes albums featuring stars like Rihanna and Flo Rida.
